Regional Sales Manager, Digitization - Remote

With main activities in Europe and North America, our customers include companies from mechanical and plant engineering, renewable energies, plastics and packaging technology as well as industrial automation. In incredibly exciting projects, we help our customers to operate machines more efficiently and effectively, and to make complex processes in the operational environment more understandable.

The tasks

  • You will assume sales responsibility for acquiring new customers and develop them further in accordance with the specified corporate objectives.

  • They make a significant contribution to winning our prospects as customers and intensifying these customer relationships.

  • You control our prospects and customers with regard to the sales goals of the company and ensure the implementation of continuous standard processes in the maintenance of customer relationships.

  • You position yourself to potential customers as a process consultant and lean management expert. The argumentation revolves around processes, ROI, opportunity costs, employee satisfaction, potential savings, etc.

The requirements

  • Successfully completed studies or training

  • Several years of experience in sales, ideally of digital solutions

  • A sense of responsibility for the entire sales process - from initial contact to completion

  • Understanding of and interest in technical products/solutions

  • Hunter and hands-on mentality

  • Willingness to travel 1-2 days a week in the sales area

 

IoT Solution Architect - Remote

In incredibly exciting projects, we help our customers to operate machines more efficiently and effectively, and to make complex processes in the operational environment more understandable.  

Become part of a team with great growth ambitions, fun at work and real entrepreneurial spirit as an IoT Solution Architect (m/f/d)! You are a subject matter expert (SME) for all aspects of our IoT and analytics products and help our customers to implement their projects.

You are able to understand customer requirements and use cases and translate them into an appropriate solution design and product-based architecture. In this role, you will work with the technical sales team to drive projects through the implementation phase and ensure the success of.

The tasks

  • You will work with our sales teams and services consultants to define customer requirements and needs around our IoT and analytics products

  • You will present IoT and analytics products as part of the sales engagement process including demos, proof of concepts, and technical workshops 

  • As an expert, you take on the technical responsibility for creating solution design and architecture proposals to solve specific customer requirements or use cases

  • You manage the technical implementation and development of customer projects at the interface between product management and the customer

 

The requirements

  • Several years of experience in IoT solution design and a great curiosity about new markets, product offerings, customer applications etc.

  • Ability to support the pre-sales engagement process including technical product presentations and demo together with the sales staff

  • Ability to understand customer needs and requirements through meetings and interviews and to analyze the outcomes of these meetings

  • Ability to define architecture, design and oversight of key projects, provide guidance and knowledge transfer to field resources

  • Proven background in cloud/web application architectures and knowledge of common protocols. (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, REST, JSON)

  • Technically sound basics (academic and/or professional), prior knowledge of programming (e.g. with Java or C/C++)

  • Knowledge of machine-to-machine communication and industrial protocols (MQTT, LWM2M, Modbus, OPC UA etc.)

  • Proven ability to present technology solutions to both senior managers and developers

  • Ability to create, review and extend proof of concept documents, SOWs and various project plans

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
